Biography
The Plum Boys, are an Electronic Rock Pop band formed in 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas, have garnered recognition as a breakout artist for 2025 by the Dallas Entertainment Awards. Their recent performance at SXSW in March 2026 further solidified their status. 

The band consists of founding members Fabian and Caleb, who met at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and sang for the renowned Texas Boys Choir during their sophomore year of high school. Inspired by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, they decided to form the band and write and produce their debut album, “SHE,” during their final months of high school in 2022. This album was subsequently distributed by Smith Music, a Fort Worth-based company. 

The Plum Boys quickly gained popularity through live performances and secured opening slots for notable acts such as the 80s group “A Flock of Seagulls” at TannaHills Tavern and Music Hall and “Kid Bloom” from Los Angeles at the House of Blues in Dallas and Houston. In 2024, the band released their four-song EP, “Velvet,” which was promoted through a summer tour in Fort Worth, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. Their latest EP, “ALIVE,” was released in February 2026, following the release of three singles. This new era for the band’s music introduces a fresh sonic landscape and mature tone, with all songs from their latest EP, “ALIVE,” being featured on KXT’s “The Homegrown Show” with Jessica Waffles. Additionally, the song “ROCKSTAR” was selected as one of the top 971 songs of 2025 on KXT. 

As an Amplify817 artist, the Plum Boys are among the highest-streaming artists on the platform. They maintain regular radio rotation on 91.7 KXT radio and continue to perform locally and regionally while working on new music and expanding their fan base.
